Teresa Strasser is an Emmy-winning writer (Comedy Central’s “Win Ben Stein’s Money”) and an Emmy-nominated television host (TLC’s”While You Were Out”) and currently hosting the show The List. Radio and podcast audiences will know her as the co-host on The Adam Carolla Show.

Her first book, Exploiting My Baby* was published in January 2011 by NAL (a division of Penguin Publishing) to excellent reviews and became a Los Angeles Times Bestseller. The book was optioned by Sony Pictures Television and developed into a pilot for ABC written by Teresa with Jamie Tarses’ Fanfare Productions. The book is based on her popular website, www.exploitingmybaby.com which was voted by Babble.com as a Top 10 Funniest website in 2010.

As a journalist, Strasser is a contributor to the Los Angeles Times and a columnist for The Los Angeles Jewish Journal. Her first-person essays have garnered three Los Angeles Press Club Awards, including Columnist of the Year.

Other television credits include serving as a field correspondent for WNYW-TV’s “Good Day New York,” and for Fox shows “Good Day Live” and “On Air With Ryan Seacrest.” Strasser co-hosted “How to Get the Guy”for ABC, the weekly pop-culture round-up “TV Watercooler,” on the TV Guide Network and she helped launch“TMZ TV.” As for deep cable, you can still find her there in re-runs, hosting “Character Fantasy” on the USA Network.

TV writing credits include “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” and “The Chair,” both for ABC.

Strasser has appeared on numerous countdown shows on basic cable, mainly for the E! Network, including “50 Cutest Child Stars” and “101 Celebrity Oops” and has written for the popular magazine features Stars Make Us Laugh (In Touch Weekly) and Fashion Police (Us Weekly). She has covered the red carpet for The Academy Awards, The Tony Awards and The Emmy Awards. Teresa is a regular guest on Dr. Phil, The Doctors, CNN’s Headline News and has appeared on The Talk, NPR’s Marketplace, Life Changers with Dr. Drew and Kathy Griffin’s Bravo show, Kathy, among many others.

Most recently, Strasser was hired to host nightly news magazine show, “The List,” for Scripps Television.
